First identify the account you pay for
Look for your monday.com subscription invoice in the billing section of the account you pay for. Boards and workspaces organise work within an account. Being a workspace member or board owner does not necessarily give you billing access.
In the web version, you can find the account address in your browser’s address bar; look for the part in the form company-name.monday.com. Note it down along with the period you need the document for. If you work in both your own account and a client’s account, confirm the address with the colleague who ordered the subscription or manages monday.com at your company. The project name alone may not tell you which account the payment was for.
Fictional example: Jana manages a client’s board, but her accountant asks for the subscription invoice for Jana’s own studio. Jana first finds the studio’s account address and asks its administrator for the document. Her permissions on the client’s board will not help her obtain it.
You may also come across Quotes & Invoices in monday CRM. This feature creates quotes and invoices for your clients. These are different documents from the invoice monday.com issued for your subscription.

Open the right account in your browser
Open the chosen account’s address in your browser and sign in using your own access. Billing under Administration is available only in the web version of monday.com, not in the apps.
If you use several accounts, you can click your profile picture at the top right, choose Switch accounts and select the account you need. If it is not listed, open its address in another tab and sign in there too. Then refresh both tabs. If you do not have your own access to the required account, ask its administrator for the document using the message below.

You need billing permissions in that account
An account admin manages the whole account, including billing. A board owner manages permissions for the board and may not be an account admin. The monday.com help centre identifies admins as the people who can access invoices and receive them by email.
On Enterprise, an admin can assign a custom role with the Access the Billing section permission, allowing billing access without the full admin role. If you have this access, check in Billing whether you can also see the required invoice on the Invoices tab. If the tab is missing or you are unsure about your permissions, ask the account admin for a copy.
To obtain a single document, it is enough for the admin to download it and send it to you. You do not need to borrow their login or request control of the whole account. If you do not know who the admin is, ask the colleague who ordered the subscription or manages access at your company.

Download the specific invoice and open it
If you are an admin of the right account, follow these steps in the web version. If you have been given access to Billing, try the same route and check whether you can see the Invoices tab:
monday.com: where to find and download invoices →
- Click your profile picture at the top right and select Administration.
- Open Billing and the Invoices tab.
- Use the download option in the Actions column for the invoice you need.

Open the downloaded file and compare the invoice recipient, date, amount and subscription billed with what you need to send to your accountant. If you need a specific period, also check the period shown on the document; a similar amount alone is not enough to identify the right invoice.
The document combines invoice and payment receipt information; the receipt information is under Details. Send your accountant the downloaded document as a file so they can open it without your Billing access.
If the document is missing or you paid by bank transfer
For a new document, bear in mind that monday.com says it can take up to 24 hours to upload it to Billing. If you are looking shortly after payment, check the list again once that time has passed. If you still cannot find the document, the admin can ask support to locate the specific invoice.
If you paid by bank transfer, request an invoice copy from your account manager or from support through the contact form. If you only have board access, ask the account admin to handle the request. Include the account address, period and any payment details you know. Use the email address associated with the account in the form; the date, amount, currency or invoice number can help identify the document you need.
If the invoice you find has old company details, changing them in Billing → Settings will affect only the next invoice. It will not correct the original document. Contact support about an already issued invoice and include its number; do not rely on an automatic change.

What to write to the account administrator
Identify the account by its address in your message and explain which document you need. You can add the board name for context, but base a subscription invoice request on the account and period. Payment details are also useful if the admin has to contact support.
