Write down the account, billing period, payment date and amount. These details keep a request for a subscription bill separate from a request for documents signed by a customer. Avoid searching every client agreement just because the payment description says Docusign.
Start with the billed account
As the billed account’s administrator, open Admin → Plan and Billing (Subscription and Billing for some accounts). Eligible direct eSignature or IAM subscriptions open Subscription Center. Full account administrator permissions are required; being able to sign documents is not enough.
Docusign: Subscription Center →
In Subscription Center, select Invoices. Open the three-dot action menu beside the invoice you need and select Download Invoice. A PDF downloads to your device. If a Pending changes window appears, select Download Invoice again.
Some subscriptions, including reseller arrangements and certain enterprise IAM offers, still use the original Plan and Billing pages. If that is the interface you see, open Billing History and select the matching transaction to view and download its invoice. Use this older route for that interface rather than assuming it also applies to Subscription Center.
Available options depend on the plan and payment method. If this route does not yield the document, the account administrator can request a copy of the specific invoice through Docusign’s official Get Help page; include the account, period, payment date and amount. The form is not available in every language. Do not change the plan to retrieve a bill.

The person who signs documents may not manage the subscription. If billing is handled by someone else, ask the billed account’s existing administrator for the document.
Specify which document you need
Please send the Docusign subscription invoice for [account and period], associated with [payment date and amount]. I need the service purchase document, not the client agreement or signing certificate.
Keep client contracts out of the request unless a specific reference is needed to identify the purchase. A signed file with the right month in its name is still the wrong document if it describes a customer transaction rather than the service charge.
Worked example: an agency pays for Docusign in October and signs a client contract that same week. Its folder contains the client agreement and signing certificate; neither records the agency's billed subscription purchase. It sends the request below to the paying account's administrator with the period, payment date and amount. Once the provider invoice arrives, it opens the file and verifies the agency as customer and the subscription as the purchased service. It prepares that invoice and its number for handover, rather than collecting more client files. Until then, the missing invoice remains an outstanding item.
Check the file before handing it over
Open the document and compare the customer, purchase description, period and amount with your request. Preserve the original contents. Save it with the account, period and document number, then check whether accounting already has the same file.
Record any missing period explicitly. “Agreement downloaded” does not close “subscription invoice missing”. Once the bill is obtained, agree who will deliver the next one and where verified documents belong.
Email invoices with HeyRup
HeyRup is preparing a service to find PDF invoices in a connected mailbox and hand selected documents to your accountant. Retrieve invoices available only in a provider portal there first. Registration is not open yet. On the English HeyRup website, choose “Notify me at launch” and leave your email in the form if you want a launch notification.
