Licences and access to invoices
You use Photoshop or Acrobat, perhaps even manage team licences, but cannot see the invoice history. For an Adobe team subscription, access depends on who owns the contract. Permission to use an app or administer part of the team may not be enough to obtain an invoice.
Before changing accounts or access, identify the owner of the specific contract and how it was purchased. This tells you who can actually supply the original PDF.
Direct purchases go through the contract owner; reseller purchases through the supplier
Adobe says invoice history in Admin Console is available to the contract owner. For plans bought through a reseller, it directs invoice requests to that reseller.
For a direct purchase, the contract owner opens Account → Billing history. Someone else not seeing this tab is no reason to transfer contract ownership for a single document. Ask the existing owner to download it.

Include the organisation, required period and any known invoice number in your request. If you only know the payment, provide its date and amount as search clues, rather than proof that this specific invoice is missing.
Select the invoice and check what you download
You can search the history and download selected invoices using Download invoices. This produces PDF files. Adobe also says an invoice can take up to 24 hours after payment to become available.
Open the downloaded file. Check the customer, number and period so you do not send billing for another team contract. When collecting several documents, keep a list of what you obtained; a simple ‘Adobe done’ is difficult to verify later.
Adobe also offers a receipt for some paid invoices. Save it separately from the invoice if you need it. Do not merge the file names or purposes when handing them over.
Check recipients before emailing from the console
Email invoices does not send the document only to addresses you enter in the form. According to Adobe, all administrators in the organisation also receive the message. Check the recipient scope before using this feature.

In a fictional example, Jana needs to give September's invoice to an external accountant. The contract owner downloads it, and Jana sends it through the agreed company channel with the note ‘company A team contract, September’. This keeps a one-off handover to the accountant distinct from sending through the console.
When you do not know who owns the contract
Ask whoever bought the licences to find the contract or reseller order. You could write: ‘I need the original PDF for company A's Adobe team subscription for September. I cannot access Billing history. Who owns the contract, or which reseller issues the invoice?’
If you have confirmed a direct purchase but the correct owner still cannot find the document after the usual delay, contact Adobe support. Until then, keep the item open and name the person following it up. A completed result means the matching invoice and a clear handover, rather than merely access to an application.
