Start with the payment date, amount and account used for the purchase. Look for an existing receipt in the mailbox and document folder before requesting another copy. A payment statement can help locate the transaction, but it is a separate document.

Choose the retrieval route

Grammarly’s receipt guide

For a purchase made directly from Grammarly, open `Subscription` and select the PDF icon beside the specific transaction. Download All retrieves all available receipts. If that subscription has expired, ask Grammarly support for the receipt for the particular payment.

For an Apple App Store purchase, use Apple’s purchase history: sign in to reportaproblem.apple.com with the purchase Apple Account and locate the item by amount. Also search email for the exact terms receipt from Apple or invoice from Apple and compare the purchase inside the message. If the document is missing, ask Apple Support; a purchase-list screenshot does not replace a provider-issued document. Grammarly gives individual subscribers receipts, not invoices. Clarify the required document type separately rather than editing a receipt into another document.

Use the route that matches the subscription’s current state. For a support request, explain which transaction needs documenting. There is no need to paste text you checked with the writing service or attach unrelated work files.

Ask for the missing period precisely

Please send the Grammarly receipt for [payment date and amount], purchased through [account or purchase channel]. My subscription has expired, and I need the document for this past transaction.

Replace the placeholders with verified details. Do not include your password or full card number. If you are unsure which account made the purchase, establish that first; guessing several account identities makes the request harder to resolve.

Check the returned document

Open the file and compare recipient, description, date and amount with the transaction. Suppose a folder contains one receipt from a previous year and a recent payment statement. Neither filename proves that the missing receipt is present. Confirm the relevant purchase in the document itself.

Keep the provider’s document unchanged and describe it by its actual type when handing it over. If your accountant needs something different, identify that requirement separately rather than editing the receipt into a different document.

Save the checked file with the service, period and document identifier. Search for a duplicate, then deliver one copy to the agreed location. Until it arrives, keep the specific transaction recorded as missing.
