Find a JetBrains invoice through the purchase channel: personal purchases in JetBrains Account, company purchases in JetBrains Central Console according to current documentation, and reseller purchases from the reseller. Having access to a licence does not necessarily give you access to its invoice.
First establish who handled the purchase
Using a licence assigned by your company? Do not automatically start in your personal account. Check the order confirmation or ask the colleague who arranged the purchase whether it was a personal purchase, an organisation purchase or a reseller order. Then choose the corresponding route:
| How it was purchased | Where to start | If the invoice is not visible |
|---|---|---|
| Personal purchase directly from JetBrains | JetBrains Account → Transactions / Invoices | Contact JetBrains Sales Support with the order or invoice reference. |
| Company purchase directly from JetBrains | JetBrains Central Console → Billing → Transactions and invoices | Check the organisation, then ask a colleague with billing access or Sales Support. |
| Purchase from a reseller | The reseller who handled the purchase | Ask for the invoice for that order. A licence certificate is not the invoice you are looking for. |

Personal purchase: JetBrains Account
JetBrains says personal purchase invoices are emailed, and a copy is also available in your account. If it is not in your inbox, continue in JetBrains Account:
- Sign in to JetBrains Account using the account that made the purchase.
- Open Transactions / Invoices.
- Find the purchase and click the invoice number in the last column.

If you cannot find it, first check whether the purchase belongs to an organisation or went through a reseller. A missing entry in your personal account does not by itself mean there is no invoice. Use the details in “What to prepare for an invoice request” below to request a search.
Company purchase: Central Console and the right organisation
JetBrains’ current company-invoice guide points to JetBrains Central Console, where organisations are moving from JetBrains Account. Individual licences remain in JetBrains Account. For a company purchase:
- Sign in to JetBrains Central Console using the account used for the purchase.
- Use the organisation switcher to check that you have selected the organisation whose invoice you need.
- Open Billing → Transactions and invoices.
- Open the link with the relevant invoice number and download it.

We retain the English labels used in the documentation: Billing is the billing area; Transactions and invoices is the transaction and invoice history. An older FAQ still describes company navigation in JetBrains Account. These steps follow the newer invoice guide and Central Console migration documentation.
If you can see the invoice but cannot download it, contact Sales Support with the order or invoice reference. A failed download does not mean you need a different document.
You can see the licence, but not billing
Signing in with the same credentials does not automatically grant organisation-management permissions. Central Console uses roles: Org admin manages the whole organisation; Licensing and billing manager and Purchase manager have billing-management permissions. Being able to use or see a licence therefore does not guarantee unrestricted invoice access.
If you cannot see the required organisation or its Billing area, ask the colleague who handles purchasing or billing to send that specific invoice. Do not request their password or broad administrative rights for one document. Sales Support can also help locate it.

Reseller purchase: request the invoice, not the certificate
JetBrains describes how a reseller passes the licence certificate to the customer. That process concerns the licence and does not provide an invoice retrieval route. Do not stop at the certificate when you need an invoice.
Ask the reseller who handled the order for the purchase invoice. Access to the licence in JetBrains Central Console is no reason to assume the reseller’s invoice can also be downloaded there. This guide does not verify any reseller-specific invoice route.

What to prepare for an invoice request
For a direct purchase, use JetBrains Sales Support. JetBrains says an order or invoice reference can help locate a missing invoice. The formats below are examples, not actual purchase details.
Open JetBrains Sales Support →
| Detail | What to prepare |
|---|---|
| Order or invoice reference | Copy the known reference from the order confirmation or a related message. JetBrains lists the formats Uxxxxxxxxx, Axxxxxx and INVJBAxxxxxxx. |
| Who made the purchase | State whether it was a personal purchase or a purchase by a particular organisation. When asking a colleague, name the company whose document you need. |
| What you need | Say that you need the invoice for the order. If you only have a licence certificate, distinguish it from the requested document. |
| Where the search stopped | For example: the invoice is missing from the history, you cannot see the organisation or Billing, or a visible invoice will not download. |

JetBrains documents the order or invoice reference as a way to locate an invoice. We recommend the other rows as context for your request, not mandatory support-form fields. Do not invent an unknown reference: state what you have and ask the purchasing colleague for missing details. For a reseller purchase, send the request to the reseller.
Compare the document with the purchase before handing it over
We recommend comparing the buyer and purchase details on the invoice with the purchase you were looking for. For example, are you investigating a company purchase but the document names a different buyer? Raise the difference with the colleague who handled the purchase. Do not edit the file to make it look like the document you need.
Pass on the supplier’s original file and describe any discrepancy separately. The aim is to obtain the correct invoice or send a specific request to someone who can locate it. This does not assess payment status or the document’s suitability for tax purposes.
Basis and scope of the guide
This guide uses public JetBrains documentation checked on 14 October 2026, Czech local time. Signing in to a customer account and downloading an actual invoice were not tested. Routes and menu labels come from the documentation; checking and handover suggestions are editorial recommendations.
For company navigation, we use the invoice guide updated on 1 October 2026 and Central Console migration documentation dated 21 September 2026. The older FAQ dated 13 August 2026 is used for personal purchases and reference formats. The separate invoice procedure for mainland China is outside this guide.
