Start by looking for the Namecheap purchase confirmation email. According to the official guide, it includes the order details, service and amount paid and can serve as your receipt. If you no longer have the email or need a PDF, open your account history.
Open the history and choose what to search by
Sign in to the account used for the purchase. Open Profile → Billing → History. Select View All under Orders or Transactions to open the relevant history. We retain the English interface labels used in Namecheap’s guide.
Orders show what was purchased. If you are starting from a payment, use Transactions: the history shows the payment method and associated order. Choose the route that matches the information you have.
| What you already know | Where to start | What to find |
|---|---|---|
| Domain, service or order number | Orders | The relevant order and its receipt |
| Payment date, payment method or transaction ID | Transactions | The transaction and the order it belongs to |
| An Apps purchase | Billing via support | The document that cannot be downloaded from an Apps order |

Connect the payment to its order in Transactions
If you mainly have payment details, open Transactions. Use the available filters to find the record, then check the payment method and assigned order. This tells you which purchase the payment belongs to. Transaction details also let you print or download the document.
Illustrative example: you need a domain renewal receipt but only know the payment date and amount. In Transactions, find the matching record and its associated order. Check that the order is for the domain you need, then download its receipt from Orders. A matching amount alone is not enough to select the order.

Ask Billing for a receipt for an Apps purchase
Namecheap describes an exception for Apps purchases: their order receipts are not available to download. Request the document from the Billing team through live chat or at billing@namecheap.com.
Include the purchase details you know. You can use the suggested wording below; it is not an official Namecheap form.
Hello, please provide a receipt for my Namecheap Apps purchase: [app or service name], date [date], amount [amount and currency], order or transaction ID [if available]. The receipt is not available to download in the history. Thank you.

No account access? Ask the person who made the purchase
Ask the authorised person who made the purchase for the original receipt. Specify the domain or service, date and amount. You do not need their login credentials. Compare the document you receive with the purchase you are looking for. If you also know the renewal period, check that the document covers it.
