Start with the ad account and payment setup

In Google Ads, open the account that actually pays for the advertising. Go to Billing → Settings and check How you pay. Note the account ID, payment setting and billing country. The interface language alone does not determine which document is available.

If an agency manages the advertising, ask who pays Google directly. If the agency recharges the costs to you, also agree which document it will supply. Access to campaign reports does not establish access to billing.

Download the document for your payment setting

In the official help below, choose the branch for your billing country and payment setting. If it directs you to Billing → Documents, select the documents you need and use Download selected. Check the period and document type in the downloaded PDFs. Other setups may use a different route; do not follow another country's instructions automatically.

For a receipt for one payment, open Billing → Summary, expand the relevant month and select the payment under Payments. A printable receipt opens, which you can save through your browser. A payment receipt, statement and invoice are different types of document.

If the document is not there yet

A monthly document may only be created after the month ends. Check availability and timing in the same help branch rather than assuming it exists on the day your card is charged. If a document will not open in a new window, check whether your browser blocks Google Ads pop-ups.

If a menu or an expected older document is missing, give the administrator the account ID, period and specific payment. Ask them to download the file or check your access. Getting one PDF does not automatically require another administrator account.

Hand over the file for the correct account

Open the PDF and compare the account, customer details, currency, period and document type. Hypothetical example: one login gives you access to two businesses. A PDF for the correct month but the other business does not satisfy your accountant's request.

State which account and period the files cover and what is missing. A campaign-spend report can provide context but does not replace a missing document. HeyRup collects PDF email attachments; it does not sign in to Google Ads for you.
