First establish where you bought Pro
To find a Perplexity Pro invoice, establish which account you used to buy it and who bills the subscription: Perplexity or an app store. Open the purchase or renewal confirmation and note the account, date, amount and currency. The confirmation helps you decide where to look; you then need the document for that particular payment.
For a direct purchase, follow the Perplexity account instructions below. If the confirmation names the App Store or Google Play, look in that store using the purchasing account. The phone you use Perplexity on does not determine where you bought it.

If you are collecting documents for someone else and cannot access the account, ask the subscriber to download the document. You do not need their password. Record an unknown purchase channel as unresolved; an empty history in one account is no reason to buy another subscription.

Direct purchase: open Invoice History
Perplexity’s official help for personal Pro subscriptions gives the following route. Sign in to the account used for the purchase and start from the home page:
- Open your profile icon and select Account.
- Under Subscription, click Manage Plan.
- In Invoice History, select the relevant date.
- Choose Download Invoice and save the document.

The English labels are the controls named in the official help. Choose the date matching the payment you need, rather than automatically selecting the latest entry. Open the downloaded file and check the subscription, account and period. Compare the amount and currency and note the document’s own number if it has one.
These instructions are based on public documentation checked on 26 October 2026. We have not tested the download in a paid customer account. The scope is personal Pro; the same route is not confirmed for Enterprise, API or reseller purchases.
If you cannot see the payment or document
Reopen the purchase confirmation first: do the account and purchase channel match where you are looking? If you cannot access the account, send the period and payment details to the subscriber and ask them to download the document. If you have confirmed a direct purchase and the correct account but the entry or download is still missing, contact Perplexity support through its official help.
State exactly what is missing: the entire payment in the history, the document for an entry you found, or access to the account. This distinguishes tracing a payment from requesting a copy of an existing document. The following is a suggested request, with no promise about how or when it will be handled.
For a confirmed App Store or Google Play purchase, deal with the document through that store. If the channel is unknown, identifying it may be the first result of the request. Until then, do not mark the document as obtained. Do not change the payment method or buy another subscription to get a copy.
Old details on the invoice? Updating billing details will not rewrite it
Perplexity’s FAQ says updated billing information applies only to future invoices. The update cannot change invoices already issued. If a downloaded document has incorrect details, updating the billing information and downloading it again will therefore not solve the problem.
Keep the original file and track any query about that document separately. Do not assume a correction is available. Tell your accountant what the document says and what you are still investigating.

Send the document and explain what is still missing
Send your accountant the original downloaded document. Add a short note identifying the service, account, period and any unresolved question. If you only have a payment confirmation, label it as such; do not present it as the invoice you were looking for.
Illustrative example: you are preparing September and October documents. You downloaded the September invoice from a direct Perplexity account, but cannot yet see a document for October’s payment. The note below keeps the two statuses separate so that a support request is not mistaken for a retrieved document. This is fictional, not an account test.
After the reply, update the note with the outcome and attach any document received. If the correct file is still missing, retrieval remains open. The handover must make clear what is missing and who will follow up. Discuss the document’s accounting treatment separately with your accountant.
