Create an account and connect the right mailbox

Creating an account does not connect your mailbox. In Mailboxes, choose IMAP and enter the server address, username and password or app password. We use TLS on port 993. After verifying the connection, select and confirm the folders containing invoices. Get these details from your mailbox provider; do not email them to support.

  1. If you have an invitation or an enabled account, sign in to HeyRup. Otherwise continue with preparation and the launch-notification form.
  2. Continue from the initial overview to connect a mailbox.
  3. Verify the IMAP connection, select the folders containing invoices and confirm them.
  4. After returning, verify that you see the expected mailbox.

Get your first result using your own documents

Before starting, choose the period and review plan-usage information. Historical import itself sends nothing to your accountant. Wait for completion or monitor the run; an unfinished search is not an empty result.

  1. Start searching the selected period.
  2. Review the found PDFs and their classification.
  3. Confirm companies and rules; leave unclear documents for a decision.

Confirm the first package, then automation

Check the specific recipient and first package contents, including excluded or waiting items. The first send and future automatic mode are two separate confirmations.

After sending, check the handover result. Only enable further regular runs once you know the rules and recipient match your needs. The overview then shows the schedule and any decisions required.
