Connecting a mailbox
Signing in to HeyRup and connecting Gmail can use different accounts. What matters is the mailbox that actually contains your documents.
- Open Mailboxes.
- Choose Connect Gmail and select the required address at Google.
- Read the purpose and scope of access, then confirm consent.
- After returning, check the address and connection status in HeyRup.
When connection does not complete
Cancelled consent does not mean the mailbox is connected. If Google Workspace organisation settings block the connection, its administrator may be needed. Repeatedly clicking the same unsuccessful step may not help.
If an error occurs, note which step it happened at and contact support. Do not send your password, access codes or invoice contents just to connect.
Revoking access is a separate choice
You can revoke consent in your Google account connections. This stops further access to the source; already saved working copies are not automatically deleted by that step. Check automatic handover settings and your subscription separately.
